Went to see LAGuns last night and got talking to a few people who said the Vince Neil tour was off,this also happened the previous night were the club manager said it had been cancelled (he was pissed of as it had sold out) so I was wondering if anyone had heard anything about this? In Dallas, word is that there was an altercation with Vince...don't really know the deal, but Dallas Police had to come...said to be over 10 policemen there...and Vince yelling and being an idiot. Don't know how true this is, but I got this from someone who actually was at the show.
Ah just found the news review on the dallas show.
So, Glammy...This may be the reason for the cancelation of tour dates ya mentioned.

(Shortened)"... Then it came time for the main event.. Vince f'ing Neil baby!! His band was LOUD, his band was TIGHT... All seemed right with Vince's world until the end of the show when Vince decided to pick up his guitar. He then began having issues with the sound man... a sweetheart of a guy named Mike who's been working sound at Gilley's forever. Apparently Vince wasn't pleased with the level or something?.. and he proceeded to throw his guitar down, walk over to the soundboard... LEAP ON TOP of the board... and with what witnesses say was an 'open hand'... Vince BITCHSLAPPED Mike so hard it caused him to fall back and hit his head on the floor. That's when all hell broke loose. Vince left the stage... the Dallas Police stormed the area and the paramedics arrived. SHOW OVER! Needless to say any plans for a 'meet & greet' were scrapped and that was unfortunate news for our radio contest winners.. (not to mention Spicoli who looked like someone just ran over his dog). On the way out of Gilley's I managed to get a brief explanation from Dallas' finest and they told me criminal trespass charges were being brought against Vince and that he's never allowed back on Gilley's property. He was free to leave on his tour bus but Dallas detectives will be following up and he'll be facing a court date in Dallas to address the charges."
Just happy it wasn't me he hit...cuz vince tour would be canceled due to him being in the hospital....LOL!!!!

Cheers for that mate....its got me shaking my head lol....I kept saying to myself dont believe he`s playing till he walks on stage never mind having ticket in hand,just like Guns n...i mean Axl was due to play at the Leeds festival the other year,I never thought he`d show and by 10:50 I thought I was right then they came on 10 mins before curfue ,I think the festival promoters were charged ?5000 for every minute it runs over each night so being over run by 2 hours that night probably never went down well,but I guess it saved a riot if they had have pulled the power

Man, is that the worlds biggest idiot/asshole (as far as musicians go, and people that should NOT be like that, I mean, there is MUCH bigger scum in the world impresonating "human beings", but ya know) alive or what? I highly doubt we will ever see a Motley reunion with Vince. Those guys should have stuck with Corabi and seen where creativity may have taken them. They could still be relevant today, atleast moreso than the novelty "greatest hits" package they will tour with Vince as.

It never got upgraded to CD and is only a tape, but it is still the only thing that is Crue. They still have yet to write a song anywhere near as good as "Poison Apples". I never heard "Generation", and I have no desire to since that no talent shit voice is on it. [img]wink.gif[/img] But seriously, To go in the heavier direction that they did, they couldn't use the Vince voice straight off, they needed another voice to show them they could do it. As for the recent events, for his kids memories sake (since people like to say he fell apart after she passed), I would hope he would eventually find a place in his heart to straighten up and return to do something right. I can't stand the guy, but I would love to see him clean up and learn from his fuck-ups.

Then you go to a show...and half...sometimes most if ya in Texas, are sloppy and fat with mullets. When I was in Florida for that Poison tour with Cinderlla, Skid Row, Winger and Vince Neil. Some fat mullet guy in line just talked about...VINCE NEIL is a fat ass and needs to stop eating them burgers and all this crap. I was like ummm....wonder if this guy looks in the mirror...haha.
I'm with Carl on this one, Though I do own all of Motley Crue's albums....I find it that I listen to the Motley/Corabi album more...It was new, raw, ass kickin' and not the same passe music Motley/Neil put out album after album.

Why, again, are there people that hate Generation Swine? I think that's a great cd. In fact, I think I'll put it in right now. Imo, it highsteps all over their 'wanna be alternative' self-titled release in which I think there's exactly two songs worth listening to (Misunderstood and the aforementioned Poison Apples).
